Peptinex DT, from the makers of Vivonex, is the first semi-elemental formula
designed to optimize the dual transport system in the gut and promote rapid
absorption of nutrients for patients with gastrointestinal impairment. Over
70% of the protein in Peptinex DT is provided as di- and tri-peptides and
free amino acids that can be absorbed directly. Peptinex DT contains one-
half the amount of fat of Peptamen to help speed absorption and minimize
digestion in patients with GI impairment. Now available with the prebiotics
Benefiber and fructooligosaccharides for optimal gut health.
Please note: Peptinex DT is an enteral formula. For oral feeding, use Peptinex 1.0
