Farmingdale, NY February 11, 2006 -- Being a Caregiver for
a loved one is at most times, strenuous and challenging. CWI Medical
strives to help everyone with health care solutions, and invite you
to hear some new techniques and informative advice for healing and preventive
measures.
"Coping with Caregiving" is hosted by Jacqueline Marcell,
the author of "Elder Rage, or Take My Father...Please! How to Survive
Caring for Aging Parents." She was so compelled by the heart-wrenching
experience of caring for her elderly parents, both with Alzheimer's
(which was not properly diagnosed)--she gave up her career as a television
executive to become an author, publisher, radio host, national speaker
and advocate for eldercare awareness and reform.
Jacqueline’s missions are to: help improve our eldercare laws;
educate and enlighten healthcare professionals to be able to better
help the families they work with; provide solutions and hope to families;
encourage funding for Alzheimer’s and Breast Cancer research and
bring awareness to the importance of early diagnosis; help prevent elder
abuse, neglect and exploitation; encourage long-term care insurance/planning;
and to bring attention to the need for funding of Adult Day Services.
The show will be broadcast live on Saturday, February 11th 3:00-4:00pm
PT (6:00-7:00pm EST). It will also be archived on the WSRadio.com website.
